Harriet Bouslog Labor Scholarship Fund Alumni

The ILWU 142 story is about bringing economic justice to Hawai’i and the union’s contribution towards racial equality and destroying the old feudal grip of Big Five industries, who brought slave-like workers from many countries during 1850 to 1944.

Through the submission of essays on the history of ILWU in Hawai’i, these students won a scholarship to a University of Hawai’i school.
