Harriet Bouslog Labor Scholarship
The Harriet Bouslog Labor Scholarship was established to demonstrate support for, as well as to commemorate the historic achievements of, the ILWU and encourage greater awareness and understanding among young people about the ILWU’s economic, social, and political contributions to Hawaii. The Scholarship provides college opportunities for children of ILWULocal142 members whose struggles made Hawaii the multi-cultural, multi-ethnic community it is today. The Scholarship is open to the family members of existing, retired and deceased ILWULocal142 members.
